About Plutarch

Plutarch was a Greek historian, biographer and essayist, known primarily for his 'Parallel Lives' and 'Moralia'. He is considered today to be a Middle Platonist. Plutarch's surviving works seem to have all been originally written in Koine Greek. Wikipedia
